The Village of Rushville will dedicate a new historic marker recognizing the creation of the Rushville National Historic District on Saturday April 29th, 2023 @11AM at the Rushville Town Hall. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
The Rushville National Historic District was created in 1980 by the U.S. National Park Service, a division of the United States Department of the Interior. This district encompasses most of the original Village of Rushville. Creation of this Historic District was the culmination of much hard work and effort by the citizens of Rushville and its attainment is worthy of recognition and acknowledgment.
